PC MULTIPLEXER IP LAUNCHED BY CCTV SOFTWARE

PC MULTIPLEXER IP is a software digital recording, viewing and control system for IP cameras and IP video servers. It turns a PC into a digital video multiplexer by recording onto the hard disk of a PC.

PC MULTIPLEXER IP can be used with a wide variety of manufacturers IP cameras and IP video servers; you simply select the model from the software and enter its IP address. PC Multiplexer IP can currently connect to the following IP cameras or video servers, Axis, Gyyr, JVC, Sony and Panasonic.

PC Multiplexer IP's QUADPLEX action can perform four functions simultaneously without affecting other users, it can Record Images, Playback Recordings whilst still recording, View live images locally and View live/stored images remotely via network or phone line. Incidents are stored in date & time folder, and a search tool allows retrieval of an incident quickly. Alarm inputs can be connected to many of the IP cameras and video servers; alarm recordings are stored in a separate folder to normal recordings. Using programmable function keys email messages can also be sent once an alarm is triggered as well as uploading live images to a web site.

Using the latest storage mediums PC Multiplexer IP can be set to record onto low cost external 300GB firewire hard disk drives, these drives can also be daisy chained to allow up to a maximum of 22 external drives giving a maximum storage of 6600 giga bytes. Using Multistore Network Viewer software users can connect to PC Multiplexer IP over a telephone line or a TCP/IP network.

PC Multiplexer IP will give you full control over the movement of PTZ or dome IP devices. It can also be used with Camfunction IP to give a ‘virtual matrix’ graphical front-end expanding the range of CCTV equipment that can be controlled.
